the time now is 00:25.  I must write this blog tonight to tell you that i feel so guilty.  1st of all let me tell you the background.

Background:  Recently talked with my friend about monthly spending out of control. In order to survive in this economy downturn, we both agreed need to start saving right away. She told me she already started to record Nov's cash flow. but just using a very basic spreadsheet which everyone can make.  by the way, she was an accounting major in Temple. I told her that is not right, we should make those things look professionally. We should have some nicely official format accounting records. So I resumed my personal financial statements which I had setup yrs ago help me to track my monthly cash flow. After many many days doing nothing at home, I finally started again tonight!!! 1st i needed to setup those required accounting report templates. These reports will follow GAAP's requirements.  The problem was I forgot how to setup. So i needed to research my old accounting textbooks and notes as references. 

The reason made me to feel guilty:  I have a basket that keeps most of my old notes and textbooks.  I opened those notes pads. I reviewed them carefully. becuase they reminded me the old days i spent in school.  When i was reading them, 1st i opened the notes that was labeled "acct 011" which was the one i needed. I opened it, and found many many terms i forgot and didn't even know what they meant.  "avoidable interest""cost ratio"...etc. then i opened the other notes book.....shame again, after i read few pages, realized this was "corporate finance", again, forgot many formulas as usual."WACC", "CAPM" all forgot!!! shxt!!!!!!! Statistic's notes....no doubt, forgot as well.  I must say "double shames on me!!!  seems like i need to spend some time to review these things instead of spend one night to sing k and one night to play ping pong every week........

oh, great, i just found a notes which helped me alot in my work.  it was accounting's notes, "ch.7 cash and receivable". it talked about write off and bad debt!!!! I NEED THIS THING for sure. end of the year, I need to know how to write off some bad debts. What a big help i just found? woooooooo, feel much better that i keep my good notes.

ok, after an hr bullshit, the time now is 1:25.......have not started to setup those templates yet....what the fxxk!!!

tonight met with my old good friend. she is moving to Texas with her husband on this friday.  long time no see her since.......n yrs ago. Surprisingly, in the past 10 days, i have received msn messages from three different people who i thought i would never get a msg. from them again. she is one of them. and the other one is also a relative of her, probably it is what "coincidence" means...

tonight we went to a starbucks at UPenn. long time no talk with her likes we used to talk. Remember everytime we talk, always can find something meaningful (to me) to discuss. Maybe this is what friendship suppose to be. as usual, tonight we talked about "life". Life is already arranged by GOD, just depends on how i spend this time. shame on me that i don't use it correctly.  haha, tonight she said i have change.  i talk and think different than before. i just think she has 1/2 correct. coz i have another friend told me the same in last week. he also told me he feels i am different than b4.  the other 1/2 i think is wrong is she said i am more practical than before. Practical.....is a indirect way to say i look money ($) more important. my friend, i treated you a nice drink tonight! lol. well, i don't totally agree with her.  $ doesn't not occupy too much space in my mind. maybe you see a big dollar sign in my halloween custome but that is not what i really need in fact. she has this think just because i didn't talk/show that seriously when we talked in the old days.  but, for real, i have change that i know too. fortunately, this change is toward a good side (even maybe too late in some cases) but still a good sign to have these changes.  if you really think i am "practical", i could only give you an excuse that i am now in charge an accounting department, handling money everyday. working for money.

I do have change. but something i haven't change are i always love dogs and Doraemon!!!!!!!!!!!!! tonight i saw many dogs at Penn on the way to coffee place.  i looked at them, always show my smile toward these animals.  my friend bought me a very nice puzzle. it is a 3D puzzle 1st time i see. Amazing!!!! she bought it in hk for my graduation. even though it already 5mths past, but still happy to get a gift and this is Doraemonnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, baby!!!is very easy to my friend to decide what to buy for me if need......

Yesterday (oct 26) was my birthday. Again, i had someone to celebrate with me.  i never know i have that many friends.  thank you everyone including those who called me to say "happy bd".  this afternoon when i checked my emails, i found one mail from the one who never respond me........b4 i click open , i struggle. i was thinking what would i get.  obviosuly that email was for my bd. the subject line was "happy birthday".  i thank you that you still remember me. i have no clue that how do you remember oct 26 is my bd, maybe auto message from facebook? or this date is in your mind.  anyway, thank you.  you asked me why i haven't updated my blog, i don't know.  but you are right, long time no update, i just know i still have one draft haven't finished. of coz i will not work with that anymore, that one was dated spet. 2 when i got home from 2days one night camp. 

maybe one reason i don't update is no time to write, coz i want to write chinese, english can't express what i want to say exactly.  haha, i NEVER expect you read my blog............haha, thank you for reading. because i have not expected you would read, so what you saw in there are what i really want to write from my heart.

regarding the email, you said lazy to reply me.........i am telling you now, i expect everyone to leave response in this blog.  maybe you don't care, but...........that is not nice. even just a "good" or "hi", still a response, takes how long to do that???? i will reply your email later. thank you, God arranged everyone.
